The image of God applies to human embryos regardless of how or where they were conceived. A desire to welcome a child does not justify intentionally destroying another.
By lethal IVF, we mean IVF practices that intentionally create and then destroy human embryos or treat them as disposable. We call for those practices to end through application of murder laws and for existing embryos to receive protection and care.
Children conceived through IVF have the same dignity as every other child. Our concern is how embryos are treated. Families facing infertility deserve compassion, truthful information, and practical support.
