ABORTION & IVF ABOLITIONISM

Take meaningful action today. Your participation matters!

The smallest among us deserve the same protection. We call for the abolition of abortion and lethal IVF, grounded in the authority of God and the equal worth of every human life. Human worth is given by God. It is not ours to take away.

An open Bible illuminated by window light

Jesus entered the womb to redeem the world

Equal justice.
Every human.
Without exception.

Abolition is Christian

Protection should begin where life begins.

Christians for Equal Justice Now advocates immediate, impartial protection for human beings from fertilization. Our position is that age, size, location, ability, and wantedness do not determine a human being’s worth. Modern abolitionism seeks to end the intentional killing of preborn humans and secure equal justice under law as commanded by God.

We love preborn babies with equal justice of the law to protect their lives. We also love mothers with equal justice so that legalized murder would not lead them into committing a grave sin that often staples women to further dehumanize the preborn and deepen unrepentance.

Scripture and equal justice

Our Christian case begins with the dignity of humans made in God’s image (Genesis 1:27), the duty to rescue those facing death (Proverbs 24:11–12), God’s warning against unjust laws (Isaiah 10:1–2), and Jesus’ call to justice, mercy, and faithfulness (Matthew 23:23). We apply these teachings to the protection of preborn humans.

A PARABLE SCENARIO

Negotiating Evil

Can saving some lives justify a law that permits the killing of others? This hostage-scenario parable explains our distinction between rescuing everyone possible and negotiating legal permission for murder.

Goal

CFEJN’s goal is to encourage repentance and create pathways for people to actively pursue equal justice through government and legislative action, public and church engagement, education, and support for families.

State and federal authorities have distinct jurisdictions. Abolitionists work to change laws in each state and pursue the use of federal constitutional amendments and statutes to end the legal practice of child sacrifice.

In the United States, our laws should:

  • Place every human within the same basic legal protections of life and care. Enforcement for proper justice should be enabled in the language of the law.
  • Not give in to partial protections that might sound like kindness but only leave some innocent humans as legally murder-able. No innocent human should ever be murder-able in any law we ever propose by virtue of not outlawing the act or provision of murder itself.

Taking action

Ways we are pursuing equal justice and care for our neighbors.

“We say with our lips that preborn babies are as valuable as any human but actions speak louder than words. When it comes to the intentional, legalized mass killings of preborn babies in our own land, what do your actions really say?”

Common questions

What gives a human being worth?

Every human being has worth because God made humanity in His image. That worth is given by our Creator; it is not granted by parents, governments, doctors, or public opinion. Preborn humans bear that same God-given dignity from fertilization.

Do difficult circumstances change that worth?

No. Hardship changes the help a person needs; it does not remove another human being’s right to life. Poverty, fear, abandonment, disability, or the circumstances of conception cannot make an innocent child deserving of death. The mother deserves protection, care, and justice, and her child deserves protection too.

Why pursue immediate, equal protection?

Because God’s commands against murder and partiality require obedience now. We therefore seek the abolition of abortion and lethal IVF through laws that protect every human from fertilization and apply an impartial standard of responsibility to those who culpably participate in killing.

Why outlaw lethal IVF methods?

The same human dignity applies in the womb and in the lab. A human embryo is not a disposable product, and the desire to have a child cannot justify intentionally destroying another. Children conceived through IVF have the same worth as every other child.
